Terms of Use – Receipt Keeper

Last updated: 11th July 2026 · Garry Price

1. The app

Receipt Keeper helps you photograph, store and organise expense receipts on your device. By using the app you agree to these terms.

2. Not tax advice

Receipt Keeper is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, it does not determine whether an expense is allowable, and it does not submit anything to HMRC on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and your tax affairs; seek advice from a qualified professional where needed.

3. Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the App Store: payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.

4. Your responsibility for your data

Your records are stored on your device. Keeping them safe — including using the backup feature and your device’s own backup — is your responsibility. We are not liable for loss of data caused by device loss, failure, or deletion of the app.

5. Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and only for your own record-keeping. Do not attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date.
