Key takeaway:
Landlord compliance audits
– The Renters’ Rights Act 2025 has fundamentally changed how private renting is regulated in England. From tenancy law to mandatory property registration beginning December 2026, landlords now face a compliance environment that requires documented evidence — not just good intentions. Faciliteeez independently reviews your property, certificates and compliance records, identifies gaps, and gives you a clear action plan.Renting out a property in England has never involved more legal obligations. The Renters’ Rights Act 2025, mandatory property registration, the Electrical Safety Standards Regulations, gas safety requirements, EPC obligations, smoke and CO alarm rules, deposit protection, right to rent checks — the list of what a landlord must document, evidence and maintain is growing every year.
Civil penalties for non-compliance can reach £7,000 for individual breaches and £40,000 for certain offences. Local housing authorities have a duty to enforce — and government guidance makes clear there is no expectation of informal warnings before formal action is taken.
Faciliteeez applies the same structured compliance methodology used in commercial facilities management to residential property — independently reviewing your certificates, documentation and property condition, identifying gaps, and producing a clear RAG-rated action plan.
